The opening ceremony held the previous day was attended by Seok Jeong-hoon, President of the Korea Institute of Registered Architects, Lee Dong-gi, CEO of COEX and co-organizer, Lee In-hwa, member of the National Architecture Policy Committee, Lee Jin-cheol, Acting Director of the Architecture Policy Division at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and Lee Jong-bae, member of the Seoul Metropolitan Council. This event was prepared as a festival where architects, architecture professionals, and general visitors could participate and look into the current status and future of Korean architecture.

More than 130 companies related to building materials are participating to introduce a variety of building materials. Various programs such as the "KIRA Recommended Building Materials," which discovers and recommends new technology building materials, the "Building Materials Briefing Session" for participating companies to explain their materials and technologies, and "Professional Education and Ethics Education for Architects" will also be held.

Additionally, this year, the newly revamped "Architecture Information Center Building Materials Information Service" will be available for early experience through the "Architecture Information Center Building Materials Information Service Experience Hall (KIRA-MAT)." This allows architects to easily check information such as specifications, performance, and prices of materials needed for architectural design. The "Architect Zone," which introduces architectural works, will showcase outstanding works by architects.

A representative of the Korea Institute of Registered Architects said, "While operating as a B2B and B2G architecture professional exhibition targeting architects, we have incorporated various elements to attract interest and enthusiasm about architecture and architects from general visitors as well. We have prepared a diverse and substantial event to promote the social role of architects and expand the base of architectural culture, so we hope for much interest and participation."
