'2023 Gangdong Job Fair' Held

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced on the 12th that it will hold the '2023 Gangdong Employment Fair' at the open yard of Gangdong-gu Office on the 19th.

A total of 45 companies will participate directly or indirectly in this fair. The fair venue will be divided into an on-site recruitment hall, a promotion and event hall, providing residents with various employment information and connecting them to quality jobs.

First, in the on-site recruitment hall, HR managers from 22 companies will attend in person to conduct one-on-one customized employment consultations and recruitment interviews. Additionally, in the promotion hall, the Dongbu Technical Training Center will promote employment-related education programs, and the Gangdong Women's Human Resources Development Center and Gangdong 50 Plus Center will provide employment counseling and support.

In particular, this year, a dedicated booth for youth job counseling will be operated. It is expected to serve as a communication channel to provide customized job information to young people seeking employment and help resolve their employment concerns.

Various event booths will also be operated. Programs such as ▲‘Personal Color Consulting,’ which helps find a confident image and color to support employment success, ▲‘Resume Consulting,’ which offers know-how for writing successful resumes, and ▲‘Emotional Oil Therapy,’ which finds the right oil for you through scent and teaches stress relief methods, will be held.

Jo Jeong-sook, Director of the Job Policy Division, said, “We hope this fair will provide tailored job information and broad job-seeking opportunities to youth, middle-aged, and women, and become a practical recruitment venue for participating companies to discover customized talent.” She added, “We will strive to create quality jobs for residents by utilizing local resources and networks.”

Before the event, at 1:30 PM, a talk concert related to startup success will be held in the large auditorium on the 5th floor of Gangdong-gu Office, featuring lecturer Ko Myung-hwan, the protagonist of the '1 Billion Won Sales Success Story.'
