EN Corporation announced on the 12th that it has completed the absorption merger procedure with its subsidiary Hanseong Cleantec at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and confirmed the name change to Hanseong Cleantec.
The company stated that this merger has laid the foundation to further strengthen core business competitiveness and to actively expand as a global comprehensive environmental company.
The merged company, Hanseong Cleantec, established in 1990, is a specialized company in ultrapure and industrial water treatment. In May, it successfully supplied ultrapure water to a semiconductor raw material (Wafer) factory using domestically developed technology by designing and completing the first phase of localization facilities. Preparation of equipment localization facilities through the second phase demonstration plant of the national project is progressing smoothly, accelerating the technological independence of ultrapure water.
Through this, alongside the localization of ultrapure water manufacturing processes monopolized by Japanese companies, the company plans to actively expand its global business lines not only in Korea but also in Vietnam, Indonesia, Hungary, and other countries by localizing key materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang).
They are also reorganizing to secure synergy among affiliated companies. Daeyang Enviro is a specialized O&M (Operation & Maintenance) company operating environmental infrastructure facilities. It has secured top-tier performance in operating public wastewater treatment plants and comprehensive commissioning, and operates the largest domestic facility for drying and incinerating sewage sludge with a capacity of 650 tons/day.
Daeyang Enviro provides differentiated integrated solutions in the industrial water treatment O&M market through synergy between the two companies via joint EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) & O&M business development with Hanseong Cleantec.
EN Water Solution and Eclean Water are companies that possess the largest domestic industrial liquid waste treatment facilities, designated waste comprehensive recycling business, and wastewater entrusted treatment business, all with a comprehensive OneLine processing system. To respond to future technological demands such as battery recycling, recovery of valuable resources from secondary battery lithium waste liquid, and resource reutilization, they plan to specialize in facility investment and treatment systems and promote management efficiency.
