Chunky Outsole Clogs, Fur-Embellished Sandals Newly Proposed
European footwear brand ‘Scholl,’ operated by Samsung C&T Fashion Division, announced on the 12th that it will run a pop-up store on the 1st floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, until the 26th of next month.
Since its first introduction in Korea last March, Scholl has sequentially launched pop-up stores starting with Hyundai Department Store Main Branch, followed by Shinsegae Department Store Daegu and Daejeon branches, and the Beaker Cheongdam flagship store. Samsung C&T explained that Scholl opened an additional pop-up store at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil to further strengthen brand awareness among young Koreans and expand differentiated experiences.
For this fall and winter season, Scholl newly proposed chunky outsole clogs with high heels as the main product. They also offered various products suitable for everyday use in the fall and winter seasons, such as fur clog sandals made with soft fur material, curly fur clog sandals nicknamed ‘Ppogeuli,’ and rain boots. In addition to basic colors like white, brown, black, and khaki, lively colors such as purple, green, pink, and beige were introduced to add variety. The upper instep part emphasized trendy styles with metal signature button details and fur decorations made of various materials. Scholl’s collection, iconic, and comfort line representative products recorded a sales rate of over 70%, selling more than 2,000 pairs in total. Some specific products have sold out completely, receiving a hot response.
Lee Moo-young, head of Samsung C&T Men’s Wear Division, said, “Since Scholl’s domestic launch in March this year, we have opened an additional pop-up store at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil. Starting next year, we plan to expand pop-up stores in trendy spaces such as the Beaker flagship store and online and offline select shops so that more young people can experience iconic and comfortable footwear through Scholl.”
