Dain Construction is a company that constructs residential-commercial complex buildings and officetels under the brand name 'Royal Palace.' Its sales decreased from 357.6 billion KRW in 2017 to 18.5 billion KRW in 2021. In January 2021, its registration for civil engineering and construction business was canceled due to insufficient capital.

Previously, the Fair Trade Commission ordered Dain Construction to pay 44.7 million KRW in unpaid subcontracting fees and delayed interest related to the 'Hanam Misaji District Royal Palace Techno Phase 1 New Construction Site Pump Supply and Installation' project. Dain Construction has not paid the unpaid fees and delayed interest to date. The Fair Trade Commission stated, "We plan to strictly sanction companies that continue to evade compliance with corrective orders in the future."
