On the 11th, during the Financial Services Commission audit by the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee, Lee responded to a question from Yoon Chang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, who asked, "In countries like Switzerland, the UK, France, and Germany, the iPhone 15 is cheaper than the previously released iPhone 14, but in Korea, both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 are priced the same at 1.25 million won. What is the reason for this?" Lee said, "Prices are determined by reflecting exchange rates, market conditions, and distribution structures in each country," adding that it is difficult to say that the iPhone price in Korea is expensive.

When asked if there were any plans to lower the price further, Lee replied, "Prices are set reflecting different market environments in each country, and the price in Korea is relatively low."

Additionally, Lee commented on the recent controversy regarding the overheating issue of the iPhone 15 series, stating that "it can be resolved through software."
