Pledges of Integrity Hanging Abundantly... Coloring the Integrity Tree at Changwon City Council

The Changwon Special City Council in Gyeongnam held a Clean Integrity Tree Coloring event at the council's main gate on the 10th.

According to the city council, this event was organized to raise the integrity awareness of council members and to spread the Changwon City Council's commitment to practicing integrity.

The Integrity Wish Tree was adorned with integrity pledge cards handwritten by 45 council members and council secretariat staff.

Earlier, the city council held a chairpersons' meeting in the chairman's office to discuss the agenda for the 128th Changwon City Council extraordinary session.

They also shared opinions on the operation plan for 5-minute free speeches, council members' legislative training in preparation for the 2nd regular session, and the publication of policy reports by the policy support officers.

Subsequently, at a communication meeting with the executive branch held in the council's small conference room, they agreed to steadily proceed with the establishment of the mid- to long-term master plan for the Changwon National Industrial Complex, the hosting of the 23rd Masan Chrysanthemum Festival, and the facility improvement project for the Seongsan Art Hall performance venue.

Chairman Kim I-geun said, “I hope all council members and staff will make efforts to practice integrity in daily life with the mindset of 'I will start first,' so that the Changwon City Council can be trusted by citizens.”

The Changwon City Council is implementing various policies to foster a clean public service culture, including ▲establishing anti-corruption and integrity promotion plans ▲operating integrity leaders ▲inviting external expert lecturers for integrity education ▲sending integrity notification messages ▲holding anti-corruption and integrity practice resolution meetings.
