Galleria Department Store Unveils 'George Molton Clark' New Works for the First Time in Korea at Maison Galleria

Maison Galleria Opens in Hannam and Daejeon

Galleria Department Store announced on the 10th that it will showcase new works by British artist George Molton Clark at its VIP-exclusive facility, Maison Galleria (Seoul and Daejeon).

This exhibition will present a total of 19 works, including previously unreleased new pieces by George Molton Clark, in solo exhibitions at Maison Galleria Hannam and Daejeon. The exhibition, titled after works such as "Bubblegum" and "Jelly·Cereal," emphasizes pop color tones reminiscent of these titles, creating a cheerful yet fairy-tale-like atmosphere. George Molton Clark is known for expressing famous cartoon characters through impromptu drawings and vivid colors. In particular, he brings characters to life on large canvases using oil, acrylic, spray paint, and charcoal.

At Maison Galleria Hannam, the exhibition and sale will be available to VIP customers until November 30, and at Maison Galleria Daejeon until January 6 of next year. Notably, George Molton Clark will personally visit Maison Galleria Hannam and Daejeon to spend time with customers through artist talks, autograph sessions, and private docent tours.

A representative from Hanwha Galleria stated, “Recently, George Molton Clark’s works have gained popularity both domestically and internationally through word of mouth,” adding, “We will continue to present various art projects tailored to the tastes of our VIP customers.”
