On the 8th, Hanro (寒露), the solar term when cold dew begins to form, the central region will have occasionally cloudy skies, and there will be rain in Gangwon Yeongdong, the southern coast, and Jeju Island.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 7th, rain will fall in Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of Gyeongsang Province until the morning, and in the southern coast and Jeju Island until the afternoon. Additionally, raindrops are forecasted to fall in the Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions from the previous night until the morning of the day.
The expected precipitation over the next two days is 5 to 30 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, 5 to 20 mm in the southern coast of Jeonnam, Busan and Gyeongnam southern coast, and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, around 5 mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam (excluding the southern coast), Ulsan, and inland Gyeongnam, and 5 to 40 mm in Jeju Island (with more than 60 mm in the eastern and mountainous areas).
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 9 and 18℃, and the daytime high temperature between 19 and 23℃. Temperatures are expected to remain near the average levels, with lows around 8 to 16℃ and highs around 21 to 24℃ for the time being.
Fine dust concentration will be at a 'Good' level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, dense fog below 200 meters is expected in some places due to low clouds.
Strong winds with gusts exceeding 55 km/h (15 m/s) are expected in the southern coast and Jeju Island. The Korea Meteorological Administration reported that strong winds of 35 to 60 km/h (10 to 16 m/s) will blow until the afternoon in the outer seas of the central East Sea and the northern outer seas of the southern East Sea, where a wind wave advisory has been issued, causing high waves at sea, so caution is advised.
Furthermore, along the East Sea coast, southern coast, and Jeju Island coast, high waves caused by swell will occasionally surpass breakwaters or coastal roads for the time being. Wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. In the inner outer seas (outer seas within about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights will be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea.
