Dong-Eui Institute of Technology signed an 'Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement' and an 'Early Employment Contract Department Operation Agreement' with Erica Hair on September 26.
This agreement was established to build a mutual cooperative relationship for the exchange of knowledge and technology necessary for fostering local industries and for jointly nurturing excellent talent to meet the industrial demand of early employment contract departments.
Attendees at the signing ceremony included Dong-Eui Institute of Technology's Industry-Academic Cooperation Director Ihwa-seok, Hair Beauty Department Head Kim Nam-hee, Smart Beauty Care Professor Kang Mi-young, Erica Hair CEO Ha Woo-hyun, Representative Director Kim Min-young, and Director Jeong Seok-hee.
Erica Hair and Dong-Eui Science University officials are taking a commemorative photo after signing the industry-academic cooperation agreement.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲supporting field training and employment for outstanding students in related departments (fields) ▲providing technical information and research materials mutually ▲joint participation and support in educational projects ▲joint talent development related to early employment contract departments ▲support and cooperation for projects and events such as the operation of early employment contract departments and R&BD-related technology development.
Erica Hair, headquartered in Busan, operates 45 franchise stores nationwide and is a brand leading the discovery of local talent and the training of hair beauty professionals by sharing a systematic hair designer training program with Dong-Eui Institute of Technology.
Jeong Seok-hee, Director of Erica Hair and an alumnus from Dong-Eui University class of ’08, said, “Starting from this agreement, I will support seniors in hiring juniors so they can grow into local talents.”
Ihwa-seok, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation, stated, “I feel especially meaningful to sign an agreement with a company whose director is an alumnus. Through collaboration between the two institutions, we will establish Busan’s B-Beauty as a new cultural content, contribute to revitalizing the local economy, and nurture talents who will lead the beauty industry in the Busan area.”
