The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 5th that it has signed a multilateral business agreement with Daegu Metropolitan City, local robot anchor companies, associations, and business support organizations to establish an innovation growth ecosystem for small and medium robot venture companies.

Through this agreement, SBC, together with Daegu Metropolitan City, will establish the 'Robot Company Innovation Growth Council' with 13 companies and organizations including local robot anchor companies, regional associations, and business support organizations, and will discover and provide focused support to promising small and medium robot venture companies related to the robot industry.

In particular, this agreement is characterized by strengthening support for small robot development companies and robot system integration companies (SI) within the region, led by large and medium-sized local robot anchor companies in the private sector. Additionally, the government and support organizations will operate a platform to actively understand the voices of companies and provide necessary policy measures in a timely manner.

Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of SBC, said, "Through this business agreement, which is part of SBC's regional growth project, a private-led innovation growth platform for small and medium robot venture companies has been established," adding, "We will spare no effort to support the remarkable development of promising small and medium robot venture companies related to the local robot industry through organic cooperation and business linkage with Daegu City, related organizations, anchor companies, and regional associations."
