Daekyo Group's golf and leisure operating affiliate, Daekyo D&S, announced on the 5th that it has acquired MEMER.D, a startup that is the number one platform for comprehensive sports field reservations.
MEMER.D operates the comprehensive sports field reservation platform 'I Am Ground,' established in 2015, and the futsal field specialty brand 'Rocco Futsal.' It also runs 'Everyone's Futsal,' a futsal community with 290,000 members nationwide.
The futsal-centered comprehensive sports field reservation platform I Am Ground has an annual transaction volume exceeding 110,000 and a monthly active user count (MAU) approaching 100,000, holding high recognition in the futsal field reservation platform market.
Through this acquisition, Daekyo D&S plans to leverage the high-quality customer database of MEMER.D to strengthen the competitiveness of its golf courses and hotels and expand the foundation of its leisure business infrastructure. Additionally, it will explore collaboration opportunities in the comprehensive sports market, including affiliates within Daekyo Group, and engage in investments to activate the platform for continuous growth.
