Last month, he was involved in a controversy over assaulting an acquaintance and posted an apology video. At that time, he said, "I will not hide or conceal anything," and "I am truly and sincerely sorry to my friend and sister-in-law. This is not just a verbal apology."
He continued, "There was a minor dispute with a close friend, which led to the situation and ultimately a fight," and added, "I feel a great sense of self-reproach."
He said, "I hurt a longtime friend, and because of that one action, I disappointed and saddened many people around me, viewers, and subscribers. I hated myself deeply thinking that the director and many members who shared hardships with me are being criticized because of me," and promised, "I swear with all I have that I will never show such a stained and disgraceful side again."
Netizens reacted to the sudden news of his death with comments such as, "Wrong is wrong and it was unforgivable behavior, but the weight of hardship must have been so heavy for him to leave so tragically. Rest in peace," "He must have been so troubled to the point of death; if only there had been someone around who understood him," and "He always seemed strong, so his passing like this feels even more heartbreaking."
Meanwhile, the deceased’s funeral is being held at Osan Funeral Culture Center, Room 302. The funeral procession will take place at 8 a.m. on the 4th, and the burial site is Ham Baek San Memorial Park in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
