Geumcheon-gu Operates Night Labor Consultation Office for Wage Arrears and Unfair Dismissal Cases

Geumcheon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) will operate a "Night Labor Consultation Office" every Thursday from 6 to 8 PM until December 14th this year. The consultation covers various labor issues, including wage arrears, industrial accidents, unfair dismissal, and other labor rights violations. It is available to all Seoul citizens.

Consultations are held at the "Expert Consultation Room" on the first floor of the district office's integrated civil service center and the "Simcheong Consultation Room" on the basement first floor. Reservations are required for consultations. Residents who wish to receive labor consultations can apply by phone to the district office's Job and Youth Division or the Seoul Southwest Labor Comprehensive Support Center. After coordinating the consultation topics and times, the schedule can be finalized.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "We decided to operate the Night Labor Consultation Office so that residents who were unable to attend during regular hours can also receive labor consultations," adding, "We hope this will help prevent violations of workers' rights and contribute to creating a healthy labor environment."
