Integrity Talk Concert with Yuseonghun, Geumcheon-gu Mayor, Held

Integrity Concert Held at District Office Auditorium Featuring Integrity Talk, Skits, and Integrity Golden Bell... A Time to Share the District Mayor's Thoughts and Employees' Integrity Awareness

Geumcheon-gu (District Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held the '2023 Integrity Talk Concert with the District Mayor' on the 26th at the district office auditorium for all employees to create an honest public service community.

First, during the integrity discussion held as a dialogue between the district mayor and experts, they discussed ways to improve Geumcheon-gu's integrity level and the attitude of public officials practicing integrity. It was a time to share the mayor's thoughts on integrity and the public officials' awareness of integrity, which received great response.

Also, by listening to a lecture on proactive administration by a professional instructor from the Integrity Training Center, participants reflected on the perspective of civil petitioners. They were able to indirectly experience corruption situations by watching an entertaining skit titled ‘Manager Kwon’s Regret.’ A ‘Integrity Golden Bell’ quiz covering the Anti-Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials was also conducted.

An employee who participated in the concert said, “The concert format, which broke away from the typical lecture style, made it easy to understand and empathize with the contents of integrity and proactive administration.”

The district office has established a comprehensive plan to improve anti-corruption and integrity to realize ‘Integrity Geumcheon,’ and is steadily implementing various policies to spread the culture of integrity, including ▲holding visiting integrity discussions by department ▲operating ‘Integrity Play Day,’ a free discussion on ways to practice integrity ▲conducting ‘Integrity Self-Study’ before starting work to cultivate integrity awareness.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “I believe the most important value that public officials must uphold is integrity,” and added, “I hope this program will serve as an opportunity for Geumcheon to take a step forward as an honest district that residents can feel and trust.”
