Korea Wins 3 Gold Medals in Gyeorugi
Park Woo-hyeok (23, Samsung S-1) of the South Korean Taekwondo national team won the gold medal.
On the 27th, Park Woo-hyeok defeated Elsharavati Saleh (Jordan) 2-0 in the men's 80kg final of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games Taekwondo event held at the Lin'an Sports Culture and Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
Park Woo-hyeok overcame Elsharavati with a score of 8-5 in the first round and 6-5 in the second round.

With this, South Korea secured three gold medals in the sparring events. On the 25th, Jang Jun (Korea Gas Corporation) won gold in the men's 58kg category, and on the 26th, Park Hye-jin (Goyang City Hall) took gold in the women's 53kg category.
On the same day, Jin Ho-jun (Suwon City Hall), who competed in the men's 68kg category, lost 0-2 to Ulugbek Rashitov (Uzbekistan) and earned a bronze medal.
