Customized Gender Sensitivity Training and Creating a Safe, Gender-Equal Organizational Culture
On the 27th, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam announced that it conducted the 4 Major Violence Prevention Education to foster a gender-equal organizational culture in the workplace at the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center Small Theater.
This education was conducted by Lee Hyun-seon, director of the Changnyeong Sexual and Healthy Family Counseling Center, targeting about 180 employees including public officials, public workers, and contract workers.
The training was held under the theme "Customized Gender Sensitivity Education, Creating a Safe and Gender-Equal Organizational Culture," focusing on workplace gender role stereotypes and cases of sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual violence, and domestic violence.
A county official stated, "The county will do its best to create a safe Changnyeong free from sexual harassment and sexual violence, and to foster a gender-equal organizational culture based on mutual consideration and communication."
