Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 27th that it will release the movie 'Dokjeon 2' on November 17.
'Dokjeon 2' is a midquel to the movie 'Dokjeon' (2018), which attracted 5.2 million viewers. Unlike sequels and prequels, a midquel deals with the story set in the middle timeline of the original work, a rare new attempt in the Korean film industry.
The movie depicts the war between Detective Wonho (Jo Jin-woong), who is still chasing Mr. Lee, after the brutal battle at Yongsan Station, the missing Rak (Oh Seung-hoon), the reappeared Brian (Cha Seung-won), and Geunkal (Han Hyo-joo), who came from China to manage the situation.
The sequel is directed by Director Baek, who directed the movie 'The Beauty Inside' (2015). Actors Jo Jin-woong, Cha Seung-won, Han Hyo-joo, Oh Seung-hoon, Kim Dong-young, and Lee Joo-young star in the film.
