Yeongdeok-gun Implements Comprehensive Chuseok Holiday Measures ... Operates Comprehensive Situation Room

Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has established a 'Chuseok Holiday Comprehensive Plan' to ensure that returning visitors and residents can spend a safe and comfortable holiday during the Chuseok holiday period. The plan will be implemented from the 28th of this month to the 3rd of next month.

The comprehensive plan covers six areas: situation room operation, safety management, complaint resolution, environmental maintenance, price stabilization, and establishment of service discipline. It was designed to respond quickly to emergencies and proactively resolve inconveniences.

Based on this, Yeongdeok-gun will operate a comprehensive situation room staffed by 201 county employees over six days, considering the extended holiday period including the temporary public holiday.

Additionally, to promote seafood consumption before the holiday, Yeongdeok-gun has expanded the scope of radioactive testing on seafood from the production stage to the distribution stage to ensure seafood safety. They also provided up to 20,000 won worth of Onnuri gift certificates per person to consumers using about 30 stores in Yeongdeok-eup Market.

We will thoroughly implement the comprehensive plan so that everyone can fully enjoy the holiday without worrying about safety anywhere in the region.”
