"Isn't That a Person Wearing a Costume?"
Images of gorillas running towards the enclosure while shielding their heads with their hands or covering themselves with jackets to avoid sudden rain have captured public attention.

The released video shows a gorilla holding food suddenly shielding its head with one hand and running towards the enclosure to escape the rain.
Another gorilla was also seen running with something beige that looked like a jacket draped over its head. People who witnessed this scene burst into laughter.
The TikTok video has recorded 33 million views and over 23,000 comments. Foreign netizens who saw the video left various comments such as "Isn't that basically a human?", "That looks like me trying not to mess up my hair," "I wonder how it got the jacket," and "It looks like a mother going to get laundry hung outside."
Previously, in May 2019, gorillas trying to avoid rain also became a hot topic. A video filmed at Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina, USA, showed gorillas barely avoiding heavy rain under a narrow roof. The gorillas pressed their bodies closely against the wall to avoid getting wet.
The zoo stated on Facebook, "Gorillas also dislike getting wet in the rain." The zookeeper who first posted the video added, "Gorillas are animals full of grace and beauty?except when it rains."
