Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is implementing a comprehensive plan for Chuseok to ensure that returning visitors and residents can have a safe and comfortable holiday.
From September 28 to October 3, during the Chuseok holiday period, a team of 173 personnel divided into 8 groups will be organized to manage various situations and actively respond to emergencies and urgent incidents.
The county has established four major measures and ten key tasks for the Chuseok comprehensive plan: ▲ a safe and secure holiday ▲ a happy holiday enjoyed by all ▲ a comfortable and cozy holiday ▲ and a rich and abundant holiday.
In particular, during this Chuseok holiday period, a 8282 civil complaint response task force will be operated to provide seamless convenience measures for residents. Additionally, with the designation of a temporary holiday (October 2) and the reclassification of COVID-19 as a level 4 infectious disease, a special transportation countermeasures situation room will be operated in preparation for the nationwide movement of many visitors and tourists.
County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “We will do our best to reduce inconveniences for residents during the Chuseok holiday period,” and added, “We will make every effort to ensure that local residents and visitors can have a safe Chuseok holiday by preventing various safety accidents and disasters.”
