Pukyong National University Faculty Startup Team Reboot Selected for ‘U-TECH Valley’

Professor Choi Seong-cheol of the National Pukyong National University founded ‘Team Libutte,’ which has been selected for the ‘U-TECH Valley’ program, a faculty startup guarantee program by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.


As a faculty startup company, Team Libutte will receive up to 3 billion KRW over three years through this program to develop a trade support platform utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI).


Under the leadership of Professor Choi Seong-cheol, Team Libutte is developing an AI-based END-to-END trade support system called ‘askyour.trade,’ which supports the entire trade process using large language models.


This system is expected to efficiently support complex work processes in the international trade environment based on AI and provide significant assistance to trade-related companies, according to Pukyong National University.

Professor Choi Seong-cheol stated, “With the support from Pukyong National University, Busan City, and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, we have gained great momentum in technology development. We will continue to strive for meaningful technological advancements and do our best to contribute to the development of the university and the Busan region.”


‘U-TECH Valley’ is a platform that supports startups, R&D, and commercialization funding to help commercialize excellent technologies developed by universities and assist university researchers and professors in launching startups.


The Korea Technology Finance Corporation provides consulting for technology-specialized IPOs and supports selected companies with long-term roadmaps similar to Silicon Valley accelerators.
