According to the county on the 25th, this environmental cleanup is being carried out across 49 parks and green areas covering a total of 1,020,878 square meters, including Daejukdo Neighborhood Park, Namak Central Park, and Oryong District Sunken Park within Naman Shindosi, Muan-gun, and is scheduled to be completed before Chuseok.
In particular, due to the long rainy season this summer causing dense vegetation growth, meticulous weeding, lawn mowing, and shrub pruning are being performed to prevent inconvenience to visitors. Additionally, inspections and maintenance of various park facilities, including park restrooms, are being conducted to ensure safe use of the parks, providing residents and returning visitors with a pleasant park environment and a clean urban landscape.
Kang Myung-su, head of the Shindosi Support Group, stated, “Through this environmental cleanup, we hope that visitors returning home for the Chuseok holiday will be able to use safe and comfortable facilities,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create a premium new town that is comfortable and pleasant to live in through systematic maintenance of parks and street trees.”
