Former President Park Geun-hye visited a traditional market near her residence in Dalseong-gun, Daegu on the 25th. Lawyer Yoo Young-ha, a close aide, accompanied her on this outing.
At around 11:04 a.m. that day, former President Park arrived at Hyeonpung Market in Dalseong-gun. She wore a beige long-sleeve shirt, a dark long denim skirt, and sneakers. She did not forget her signature updo hairstyle.
When former President Park arrived at the market, the merchants welcomed her with applause and cheers. She actively engaged in conversation, asking merchants, "Did you grow this yourself?" or "How much do you sell broccoli for?"
When one merchant asked, "Why did you come so late?" former President Park smiled and replied, "I wanted to come a long time ago, but it got delayed like this." She showed a bright demeanor as she walked around the market, smiling and shaking hands with the merchants she met.

Former President Park purchased fish cakes, lotus roots, sweet potato stems, and pumpkin leaves from the merchants with cash. After spending about 20 minutes touring the market, she left the scene by car.
When reporters asked about the reason for her market visit, she briefly answered, "Since Chuseok is near, I came to do some shopping and see the residents."
Meanwhile, on the 13th, former President Park met with Kim Gi-hyeon, the leader of the People Power Party, and the party leadership at her residence in Dalseong-gun.
