On the 24th, Cho posted a video titled "Drawing a Book Cover (Including Failures)" on her YouTube channel ‘Jjomin minchobae’.
In the video, Cho shared the news that her essay collection "I Am Moving Forward Today as Well" surpassed her father’s new book "Tears of Dike" to become the number one online bestseller, and said, "Father, I am sorry."
Cho’s essay collection, published on the 19th, ranked fifth on the bestseller list in its first week, then overtook "Tears of Dike," which was in third place, to claim the top spot. "Tears of Dike" is a book by her father, former Minister Cho.

Earlier, Cho also posted an apology video regarding a video on her YouTube channel that was deemed an unfair advertisement. On the 23rd, she wrote on her YouTube community board, "I saw reports that one of my YouTube advertisement videos was deleted for violating the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety’s standards," and added, "First of all, I apologize for not being careful enough due to my lack of advertising experience as a beginner YouTuber."
She continued, "In the future, regardless of responsibility, I pledge to thoroughly review related regulations and handle advertisements carefully," and bowed her head again, saying, "Although the advertisement was started with good intentions, I apologize once more for causing confusion among consumers."
In the video, Cho introduced a specific red ginseng product and said, "I worry that too many advertisements might shake my YouTube identity, so when advertisements come in, I really investigate a lot and carefully select whether the advertisement suits me or not." She added, "After receiving the advertisement proposal, I did not accept it immediately but consistently took the product for about a month, and I definitely felt my immunity improving. Also, after researching the product, I was convinced it was a good product, so I accepted the advertisement."
As the controversy spread, Mr. Cho posted on the bulletin board on the 23rd, stating, "I saw reports that one of my YouTube advertisement videos was deleted for violating the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety standards." The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety considered the video to be a deceptive advertisement misleading consumers and requested YouTube to delete it. The ministry viewed the expression "I feel my immunity improved after taking red ginseng for a month" as a violation of Article 8, Paragraph 1, Item 5 of the Act on Labeling and Advertising of Foods.
