Black Yak Launches All-in-One Care 'Windtaker Series'

Providing Warmth and Breathability According to Body Part Temperature and Movement

Outdoor brand Black Yak announced on the 25th the launch of the ‘Windtaker Series,’ which offers all-in-one care with just one jacket.

The Windtaker Series incorporates Black Yak’s technology that provides the necessary warmth and breathability according to the temperature and movement of different body parts. The synergy of two opposing functions, warmth and breathability, aims for all-in-one care that allows you to lightly climb and enjoy the mountains with just one jacket in any weather.

First, for the front body and upper sleeves where warmth is needed, recycled Thermore padding with a thin thickness was used. For the back, where sweat and heat are generated during movement, ventilation details were added to enhance breathability and maintain comfort. Additionally, mechanical stretch fabric is used, boasting light weight and excellent elasticity.

The Windtaker Series includes the basic windbreaker style ‘M Windtaker Jacket,’ the ‘M Windtaker 3IN1 Jacket’ which allows the padded liner and outer hood jacket to be worn separately or together depending on the situation and need, and the shirt-style men’s product ‘M Windtaker Shirt Jacket.’ Besides jackets, the lineup also includes ‘M Windtaker Warm-up Shirt’ and ‘M Windtaker Pants’ with the same functions, allowing you to experience all-in-one care in various styles.

To coincide with the launch, Black Yak plans to promote its innovative technology that enables enjoying nature through an advertising campaign featuring exclusive model IU, delivering the message, “This jacket is not just for blocking the wind.”
