Gumi City operates booths for agricultural specialty products sales and promotion
The 2023 Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Industry Expo will be held at GumiCO for three days starting from the 22nd, under the theme "The Power that Moves the World! Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food."
Hosted by Gyeongbuk Province and organized by the Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Distribution Education Promotion Institute, this event will feature participation from 120 agricultural and food companies, city and county organizations, and groups. It will operate themed exhibition halls, a Gyeongbuk excellent agricultural and food products exhibition, promotion and sales hall, city and county experience events, cotton candy making, and an agricultural and food game land experience booths.
The city will run booths promoting agricultural specialty products and selling items such as Makgeolli from Seonsan Brewery, newly harvested rice and scorched rice from Gumi City Local Food Direct Market, and two types of Chuseok gift sets. Through a roulette event, visitors to the venue will have a chance to win prizes such as yogurt from Ganghun Ranch and traditional Korean sweets from Geumosan Hangwa.
Mayor Kim Jang-ho expressed gratitude to visitors attending the Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Expo held in Gumi again this year following last year, saying, "I hope you have an enjoyable time exploring and tasting the trends of the agricultural and food industry with your family, and that you show great interest and affection not only for Gumi but also for agricultural and food products produced throughout Gyeongbuk."
