Microchip to be transplanted onto the forehead
Recently, cheekbones shaved to create a V-line face shape
A Japanese guitarist underwent nipple removal surgery because it interfered with his guitar playing. Not stopping there, he also attracted attention by implanting a microchip in his finger.
According to the Yomiuri Shimbun on the 21st, guitarist MiA (31) revealed that he implanted a microchip near his thumb on June 10.
He posted videos on X (formerly Twitter) showing the microchip implantation and the doctor performing hemostasis, and about 10 days later, he updated his status saying, "The microchip still hurts a little."

The actions possible with the microchip MiA implanted include electronic payments, exchanging SNS contacts such as LINE, and unlocking smartphones. However, he mentioned that it is a bit uncomfortable when playing guitar, so he plans to move and implant it on his forehead.
His desire for body modification did not stop there. MiA said, "Men don't need nipples," and after undergoing removal surgery last August, he shared a photo with a bandage applied.
He continued, "I had thought about (nipple removal) for a long time, so I removed them. It was a form of tidying up," explaining that they interfered and brushed against him during performances, which led to their removal. He also added that he plans to implant a microchip in the nipple area.
Finally, MiA recently shaved his cheekbones to create a V-line and candidly shared photos of his bones. He said, "I will continue to fix my flaws one by one. I have nothing to do and can’t even eat, so I am focusing on my bones."
