Labgenomics announced on the 22nd that it has appointed Han Woo-min, an expert in cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of its U.S. subsidiary, Labgenomics USA.
Han is a U.S. citizen who majored in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. He also pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program locally to build his expertise. Subsequently, he worked as a biohealthcare sector consultant and handled cross-border M&A at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Deloitte, two of the world's Big Four accounting firms. Including this, he is an industry expert who has accumulated know-how by advising in the life sciences and healthcare sectors at global consulting firms for about 10 years.
He also co-founded the bio venture M5 Bioscience group and has experience directly participating in management as the Chief Business Officer (CBO). At that time, Han strategized an innovative pipeline pool in mixed forms across various development stages and applications. He also has experience designing licensing, development, and exit plans to promote license-in deals.
The company stated, "With the addition of this expert, the acquisition of additional U.S. CLIA labs is expected to accelerate."
