The supporters attempted to enter the National Assembly grounds but were blocked, then moved to various locations around Yeouido to hold sporadic protests.

When some supporters heard the news of the motion's passage and tried to enter the National Assembly, the police closed exits 1 and 6 of the National Assembly Station on Subway Line 9.

The police and Seoul Metro Line 9 partially restricted access to exits 1 and 6 of the National Assembly Station from around 12 PM, and after the arrest motion was passed, around 5 PM, they lowered the fire shutter at exit 6 and closed exit 1, controlling access from the ground level as well.

Some protesters forcibly lifted the shutter lowered to block access or approached it, continuing their attempts to enter. One supporter of Lee was arrested on the spot on charges of obstructing official duties and property damage after pushing and pulling the shutter and hitting a police officer who tried to stop him.

Supporters blocked from entering the National Assembly gathered in front of the Democratic Party headquarters in Yeouido and attempted to enter the building, leading to clashes with the police.

The police deployed over 3,700 officers from 63 riot police units around Yeouido, including the National Assembly Station and the Democratic Party headquarters. Bus barricades were installed around the National Assembly to prepare for any sudden incidents such as protesters attempting to enter.
