Hamyang-gun Implements Support Program for Youth Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee Fee

Preventing Jeonse Fraud for Homeless Youth
Up to 300,000 KRW Refund on Paid Guarantee Fees

Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting applicants for the ‘Youth Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee Fee Support Project’ to encourage young people to subscribe to the Jeonse deposit return guarantee, as cases of non-return of Jeonse deposits among young workers and low-income youth have recently increased.

The support targets young residents of Hamyang-gun without housing ownership who have subscribed to the Jeonse deposit return guarantee through HUG Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation, HF Korea Housing Finance Corporation, or SGI Seoul Guarantee Insurance after January 1 of this year, with a lease deposit of 300 million KRW or less and an annual income of 50 million KRW or less (70 million KRW or less for newlyweds). According to the Hamyang-gun Youth Basic Ordinance, applicants must be aged 18 to 49 (born between 1974 and 2005).
