The Seoul Central District Court announced on the 21st, "The schedule for Lee's warrant hearing will be set after the arrest consent resolution from the National Assembly is sent to the court."

The Seoul Central District Court will receive the arrest consent resolution after it passes through the National Assembly → Ministry of Justice → Supreme Prosecutors' Office → Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. It is expected to take at least 1 to 2 days for the documents to be delivered. After receiving the documents, the court will assign the case to a judge in charge of warrants and then decide the hearing schedule. The judge responsible for the warrant hearing will be the chief judge in charge of warrants on the day the detention warrant request is received.

Lee's detention warrant includes charges of causing at least 20 billion KRW in damages to Seongnam Urban Development Corporation by granting preferential treatment to a private business operator in Baekhyeon-dong, and charges of having Ssangbangwool Group pay a total of 8 million USD in North Korea visit expenses that should have been paid to North Korea.

The National Assembly voted on the arrest consent bill for Lee in the plenary session that day, passing it with 149 votes in favor, 136 against, 6 abstentions, and 4 invalid votes.

Han Dong-hoon, Minister of Justice, stated after the National Assembly passed the arrest consent bill for Lee, "Assemblyman Lee Jae-myung is not a petty criminal," and added, "He is a suspect of serious crimes with many serious criminal charges."

When asked by reporters how he views criticism that Minister Han is being petty for likening Lee to a petty criminal, he responded, "I have never said that Assemblyman Lee Jae-myung is a petty criminal," and made the statement above.

When asked how he views the passage of the arrest consent bill, he replied, "I am not in a position to assign any meaning to that," and added, "It was just that I tried my best to explain the charges."

When asked whether Lee's message the previous day, which was effectively a 'request for rejection,' influenced the bill's passage, he said, "That is not a matter for me to judge."

When asked if the prosecution requested Lee's detention warrant during the session, he replied, "The prosecution proceeded according to the investigation schedule," and questioned, "Can the prosecution be held responsible for the special circumstances of the trial that was taking place in Suwon during the investigation process?"
