Various experience booths will be set up along a 500-meter section from behind BIXPO to Jangsan Elementary School, utilizing all equipment and materials used in the festival as environmentally friendly items.

According to Nam-gu on the 21st, the 1st Nam-gu Eco-friendly Energy Festival will be held for two days starting with an opening ceremony on the morning of the 23rd.

This festival was organized to actively respond to the climate change crisis and to firmly establish an eco-friendly energy transition community within the district.

To this end, Nam-gu has established three zones around the Pureungil Park walking trail for operating 38 experience and exhibition programs: the Waste ZERO Zone, Energy ZERO Zone, and Carbon ZERO Zone, each offering various programs by theme.

First, from 10 a.m. on the 23rd and 24th, at the main stage behind BIXPO in the Waste ZERO Zone, there will be pre-event performances using recycled instruments, a fashion show featuring award-winning works from the clothing upcycling contest, a performance using heat-reflective paint, pop opera and bubble show performances, and more.

Additionally, visitors can enjoy seven experience programs promoting resource circulation, including the 'Nam-gu, Please Take Care of the Earth' photo zone, an upcycling sharing market, a plogging challenge, and a carbon-neutral pledge promise tree.

The main stage is made of recyclable paper material, and promotional leaflets, banners, and festival program guide banners are also made from recycled paper and soy ink, with solar modules used for 20 years being recycled as well.

A Nam-gu official said, "This festival is designed so that all residents in the district can participate, with our residents directly planning and operating all programs," adding, "We ask for much interest and participation in this festival that highlights Nam-gu's unique characteristics."
