From Green Life Experiences to Remodeling-Only Exhibitions
Planned as a Complex Cultural Space... Open for Viewing from the 22nd
POSCO E&C announced on the 21st that it will open the 'The Sharp Gallery 2.0' exhibition hall in Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Sharp Gallery 2.0 is a space where visitors can feel POSCO E&C's thoughts on nature and the future, following its recent name change this year, and will be open for viewing from the 22nd. Under the concept of 'with POSCO, open architecture created together,' it offers an accessible open space and various programs for everyone.
The gallery spans four floors and features structural steel materials that reflect the characteristics of the POSCO Group throughout its exterior and interior. The curved exterior panels, highlighting the flexibility of steel, capture various appearances through light that changes depending on the viewing angle. At night, media content illuminating beautiful light on the transparent glass curtain wall, combined with landscape lighting, creates a unique urban scenery. On the first floor, the Innovilt showroom allows visitors to closely explore premium construction materials using steel, and large POSART art pieces on display convey the dignity of steel in residential spaces.
Both indoor and outdoor themed gardens offer an experience of 'Green Life,' which The Sharp pursues. The rooftop garden is planted with 20 species of native plants called 'Bibi-chu,' donated by the National Arboretum, and features a space introducing Korea's wildflowers. Communication with future customers, the MZ generation (early 1980s to early 2000s), is also strengthened. The 'Healing Forest' on the fourth floor is designed as a complex cultural space based on six concepts that stimulate the senses and check the mind: Happy Moments, A Spoonful of Leisure, Fresh Breath, Joyful Recovery, Small Freshness, and Emotional Knock.
In the exclusive lounge, visitors can experience the high-end premium residential culture proposed by POSCO E&C. New types of floor plans and designs allow private enjoyment of nature throughout the home, showcasing POSCO E&C’s nature-friendly specialized products such as Biophilic Terrace and Starlight Road. In particular, visitors can experience the convenience of the smart home service 'AiQ TECH' developed by POSCO E&C, facial recognition door guards, and smart mirrors. The metaverse experience space, where visitors can design their own homes, offers a unique opportunity to materialize the imagined home they want to live in.
It also features the nation’s first permanent exhibition space dedicated exclusively to remodeling. POSCO E&C expects satisfaction to increase as members can directly view remodeling unit designs. A POSCO E&C official said, "We have renewed the exhibition hall so that customers can feel and experience The Sharp’s unique residential spaces where they can realize Green Life," adding, "We plan to add value to the world through challenges toward space while actively implementing our new vision."
