CJ Freshway Delivers 'Healthy Nuri' Care Food Ready Meals to Elderly Living Alone

Support of 400 Sets of 'Hyo (孝) Gift Packages' for Low-Income Residents in Mapo-gu on Chuseok

CJ Freshway announced on the 21st that it delivered 400 sets of 'Hyo (孝) Gift Packages' consisting of care food ready meals and beverages to low-income elderly living alone in the Mapo-gu area of Seoul in celebration of Chuseok.

The package included the 'Sodam Hansang' set, composed of five types of ready meals from the care food specialized brand 'Healthy Nuri,' along with red ginseng beverages. Sodam Hansang is a product that allows elderly individuals to enjoy a hearty and convenient meal on their own. It consists of two types of softened meals, such as tender braised pork ribs and steamed chicken, and three side dishes including braised black-eyed peas, braised burdock root, and stir-fried anchovies with nuts.

More than 30 CJ Freshway employees voluntarily participated in packing the gift packages for this event, adding meaning to the sharing. A message card supporting healthy eating habits was also enclosed.

A CJ Freshway representative said, "We hope that through this gift package, elderly people living alone will have a healthy and abundant Chuseok." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our social contribution activities that support healthy eating habits for vulnerable groups in the local community by utilizing Healthy Nuri's care food capabilities."
