Handcrafted beer franchise Saenghwal Maekju announced on the 21st that it has launched the 'Gold Highball' as a new highball lineup for September.
Saenghwal Maekju collaborates with more than 50 breweries nationwide to offer consumers unique regional craft beers. The Gold Highball is a highball created in collaboration with Microbrewery Korea.
The 'Red Highball,' released this summer, surpassed 100,000 sales in a short period. To commemorate this, the Gold Highball was launched, featuring a fragrant bergamot aroma and American whiskey base, allowing consumers to enjoy the rich flavor of whiskey. Among Saenghwal Maekju's menu, good pairings include crispy dried pollack, crispy tenders and shrimp, department store jerky, and peanuts.
Microbrewery Korea, which collaborated with Saenghwal Maekju, was inspired by the world-famous beer festival 'Oktoberfest' and created a beer brand called 'Oktoberhfest' to allow people in Korea to enjoy the lively German beer festival 365 days a year. It brews with German malt and hops and owns one of the few yeast research labs in the country.
Saenghwal Maekju plans to diversify its highball lineup in line with the alcoholic beverage trends of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z).
Meanwhile, to celebrate the Oktoberfest period, Saenghwal Maekju is holding an event in partnership with Nongshim, offering a Nongshim 'Meoktaekang' snack as a gift when ordering the Oktoberfest set.
