Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 21st that it will introduce four carefully selected wines for gifts in celebration of Chuseok.
They have created a set of wines priced between 20,000 and 30,000 KRW that pair well with Chuseok food, including 'Trivento Reserve 2 types' and 'Lotte Signature Wine 2 types'.
The two Trivento Reserve wines are 'Trivento Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon' and 'Trivento Reserve Malbec', the number one Argentine wine brand worldwide. These wines are produced 100% in the Mendoza region, a famous wine-producing area in Argentina, and the company explained that the rich flavors of holiday dishes pair well with the weight and character of these wines.
The Lotte Signature Wine set includes two signature wines jointly planned by Lotte Chilsung Beverage and Lotte Group's distribution affiliates. The set combines the Spanish wine 'Lan Mencion Reserva' and the Australian wine 'The Slouch Shiraz'.
Lan Mencion Reserva is a wine specially developed for the Korean market by the premium winery 'Bodegas Lan' in Rioja, Spain. It features a hybrid oak aging process using a blend of American oak and French oak, which enhances its deep and rich flavors.
The Slouch Shiraz is a limited edition wine released exclusively for the Korean market by Killikanoon, an Australian boutique winery praised by world-renowned wine critic Robert Parker as the best winery in the Southern Hemisphere in the 21st century. It is characterized by prominent spicy plum and cherry aromas, harmonizing beautifully with smooth tannins.
A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage said, "We will continue to prepare various products to meet consumer needs in the future."
