Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has launched the '2024 Major Work Plan Reporting Meeting.'
Namhae-gun plans to not only prepare meticulously and proactively for next year's work plans in anticipation of the undersea tunnel era but also to wisely overcome the budget shortage crisis caused by the tight fiscal policy based on the spirit of 'practicality and realism.'
From the 20th to the 26th, Namhae-gun will review and refine the execution plans for a total of 285 key departmental projects, including 81 new projects and 142 priority projects, through the '2024 Major Work Plan Reporting Meeting' held by each department.
Namhae-gun will continue to promote large-scale facility expansions such as the 'Waste Treatment Facility Expansion and Modernization Project' carried out in 2023 and the 'Namhae-Hadong Regional Water Supply Emergency Network Construction' to establish a stable tap water supply system.
In particular, lifestyle-oriented projects that received high public approval, such as the ▲Shingles Vaccination Support Project and ▲Free Legal Counseling Office, will also be expanded.
Additionally, full efforts will be made to promote private investment projects that coexist and develop with the region, including ▲Breaker Hills Namhae Resort, ▲Changseon Tourism Accommodation Facility (Shilla Stay), and ▲Lighting Island Development Project.
Governor Jang Chung-nam emphasized, “Visible achievements toward the county administration goals are expected to appear in earnest starting next year,” adding, “We must meticulously prepare plans for utilizing our county’s infrastructure in anticipation of tight fiscal policies while discovering policies that residents can genuinely feel.”
