Gongcha Korea Launches Two 'Red Velvet' Varieties... Tea Venture Campaign

Gongcha Korea announced on the 21st that it has selected the United States as the second destination for its ‘Tea Venture’ campaign and will launch two 'Red Velvet Drinks' featuring Red Velvet.

Tea Venture is Gongcha's global project that blends Gongcha tea with representative items from each country to introduce new menu items. Following the introduction of the ‘Double Peach Drink’ in Korea last month, the United States was revealed as the second destination, and this year, a total of four new menus will be available, including those from Korea and the United States.

The new menu consists of two season-limited items: ‘Red Velvet Milk Tea’ and ‘Red Velvet Smoothie.’ Red Velvet, known for its soft texture and red cake layers, is a dessert that originated in the United States and is also popular in Korea. To recreate the popular dessert item Red Velvet cake in milk tea form, Gongcha topped the drinks with actual Red Velvet cake crumbles to enhance the smooth flavor, added cheese foam for a sweet and salty combination, creating a taste very similar to Red Velvet cake. Additionally, they combined a fragrant 'Black Tea' brewed at an optimal ratio every four hours to offer a special flavor.

The Red Velvet Milk Tea preserves the soft texture of Red Velvet cake, richly expressing the body of the cake layers along with the flavors of cream cheese and chocolate. On top of the white cream, red crumbles like those on the actual cake are added to enhance texture and taste, making the charm of Red Velvet stand out even more. The Red Velvet Milk Tea can be enjoyed both hot and iced.

The Red Velvet Smoothie emphasizes the sweetness of Red Velvet cake, allowing customers to enjoy the rich sweetness of chocolate in a cool smoothie form. Its striking red and white visual catches the eye, and adding tapioca pearls lets you enjoy both sweet and chewy textures simultaneously.
