'Haru' Service... Real Estate Brokerage Office Registration Processing Time Reduced from 7 to 1 Day
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) has attracted attention by introducing the ‘One-Stop’ service, which allows real estate brokerage offices and business registration suspensions or closures to be reported at once, and the ‘One-Day’ service, which drastically reduces the office establishment registration processing period from 7 days to 1 day.
Previously, individual licensed real estate agents had to report suspensions or closures to the registration authority and separately visit the tax office to report business registration suspensions or closures, causing inconvenience.
To resolve this issue, Gangbuk-gu established a linkage system that transmits changes in real estate brokerage office information to the relevant tax office. This One-Stop service allows the reporting party to submit reports in one place, preventing omissions of changes.
Licensed real estate agents wishing to process suspensions or closures of their real estate brokerage business simultaneously can submit a suspension/closure report, business registration certificate, and a copy of their ID to the district office.
Additionally, the district has dramatically shortened the previous 7-day processing period for real estate brokerage office establishment registration to just one day. Previously, during the processing period, real estate agents could not operate their offices, including brokerage and contract preparation, causing gaps in economic activities.
The One-Day service swiftly verifies necessary information by utilizing various administrative systems, shortening the issuance time of the registration certificate for real estate brokerage office establishment registration to one day.
Through this, newly opened licensed real estate agents can engage in economic activities promptly, and the issuance of the brokerage office registration certificate after payment of the registration license tax prevents arrears or additional charges.
