Over 70 Urban Resident Tourists Participated
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 20th that it conducted the Nongttrail Tour, a rural experience tourism program, at the 8th Jirisan Hamyang Baekjeon Omija Festival.
About 70 tourists living in the city participated in this tour. After arriving at Yongchu Waterfall via a tourist bus, they enjoyed the beauty of nature while listening to the sound of falling water. Then, they visited the Baekjeon Omija Festival site and enjoyed various experiences such as making Omija rice cakes and tasting them.
After fully enjoying the festival, they visited Jianjae and Odojae, selected as one of Korea’s 100 beautiful roads, and as the final course, they strolled around Seoamjeongsa and Byeoksongsa to relax before returning.
An official from the county said, “This Nongttrail Tour was operated as a program that satisfies the five senses of tourists in connection with the Omija Festival,” adding, “We will do our best to promote the joy of rural experience tourism and make Hamyang a place that visitors want to come back to.”
Meanwhile, the Hamyang-gun Nongttrail Tour is conducted with a professional guide who has completed rural tourism interpreter training, providing both promotion of Hamyang and tourism interpretation, thereby enhancing understanding of Hamyang and rural areas.
