The corporate value of startups invested in by Naver has exceeded 4 trillion won.

On the 19th, Naver published the 'Digital Ecosystem Report 2023' containing this information.

According to the report, the total corporate value of startups invested in so far by Naver's startup investment organization D2SF amounts to 4 trillion won. The support scale for startups participating in Naver Cloud's 'Naver Artificial Intelligence (AI) RUSH 2023' project exceeded 2 billion won. Naver AI RUSH 2023 is a project that supports the growth of startups by utilizing the super-large AI 'HyperCLOVA X' at Naver Cloud. Additionally, the proportion of external startups listed on the Naver Commerce Solution Market reached 65%.

The number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and creators growing by utilizing Naver technology has also increased. Sellers generating annual sales of over 100 million won on Naver Smart Store exceeded 45,000. Among sellers active on Naver Smart Store, those in their 20s and 30s accounted for 44.6%. The SME share of the total transaction amount on Naver Shopping Live also reached 50%.

The cumulative support amount for fees and growth points provided to SMEs exceeded 106 billion won. The cumulative payout amount through Naver Pay's fast settlement exceeded 24.7 trillion won. Sellers subscribed to 'Return Care,' a tech-fin insurance service provided by Naver Pay, numbered 36,000, and the monthly transaction amount of sellers using this service increased by 29%. Return Care is an insurance service that compensates basic shipping fees, return shipping fees, and exchange shipping fees when buyers request returns or exchanges after purchase.

The global creator ecosystem, including Webtoon and Zepeto, is also growing. As of last year, the scale of the Partner Profit Sharing (PPS) program, a creator revenue model package of Naver Webtoon, exceeded 2.0255 trillion won. The estimated amount of creator revenue protection effect through 'Toon Radar,' a technology to prevent illegal distribution, is about 300 billion won annually. The cumulative number of items released by creators active on Zepeto is 11 million. The number of Zepeto creators generating revenue last year increased by 800% compared to the previous year.
