Girl group BLACKPINK wrapped up their world tour finale, 'BORN PINK,' with a concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the afternoon of the 17th. Since last October, BLACKPINK performed 66 shows across 34 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, over the course of 11 months.

During the world tour, BLACKPINK maintained a streak of sold-out shows, rising to become global superstars. They attracted a total audience of 1.8 million, setting a record as the largest-scale world tour ever by a K-pop girl group. Additionally, the two-day finale concerts held from the 16th gathered 17,500 attendees each day, selling out all 35,000 seats and demonstrating their immense power.
At the concert on the 17th, BLACKPINK shared their thoughts, saying, "I thought the first show of our last tour would be unforgettable for life, but we are so happy to end our second world tour in Seoul." The members then asked the audience, "Are you ready to dance like crazy?" and delivered a more passionate performance than ever before.
That day, BLACKPINK opened the show with their hit songs "Pink Venom" and "How You Like That." Notably, the stage featured a set shaped like a traditional hanok roof in the form of the Korean consonant 'ㅅ,' which had received praise at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. last April, drawing attention.
Under pink lighting illuminating the venue, the four members appeared dressed in white outfits. They performed "Pretty Savage" and "Whistle" together, followed by individual solo stages. Then, they consecutively sang "Kill This Love," "Lovesick Girls," and "Playing with Fire," concluding the concert with the encore song "As If It's Your Last."
BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016 and celebrated their 7th anniversary last month. Although the typical exclusive contract period for idol groups is seven years, there has been no news yet about their contract renewal with their agency, YG Entertainment. Interest was high about whether they would address this during the concert, but the members made no particular remarks.
