The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on the 15th that it has selected 389 projects for next year's regional cultural heritage utilization initiatives. Regional cultural heritage utilization projects combine the historical significance and value of cultural heritage, natural heritage, and intangible heritage with local human and material resources. They aim to expand the public's opportunities to enjoy culture and revitalize the local economy. Since starting with Saengsaeng Cultural Heritage in 2008, the scope of these projects has continuously expanded. The theme for next year's programs is 'Responding to Climate Change.' In July, 636 projects from local governments were received, and the excellence of the content and the capacity to operate the projects were evaluated.
Saengsaeng Cultural Heritage concretizes regional cultural heritage as a place for history education and a representative local tourism resource.
