Goo Bonsang, LIG Chairman, Participates in Drug Prevention Campaign ‘NO EXIT’

Chairman Koo Bon-sang of LIG joined employees in a relay campaign to prevent drug abuse.

LIG Nex1 (CEO Kim Ji-chan) announced on the 15th that Chairman Koo of LIG participated in the 'NO EXIT' campaign together with employees.

NO EXIT is a nationwide online campaign to prevent drug-related crimes, jointly promoted by the National Police Agency, the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters, and related government agencies since April.

The police define drugs as "crimes like terrorism that destroy communities" and are conducting the campaign with the intention of eradicating drugs from society.

Chairman Koo Bon-sang of LIG said, "I participated in the 'NO EXIT' campaign to emphasize never stepping into a maze with no exit," adding, "All LIG employees will actively join in to create a drug-free Korea."

The campaign proceeds by participants recommending two others to join next. Chairman Koo Bon-sang participated upon the recommendation of Kim Ki-hwan, CEO of KB Insurance, who had previously joined, and he passed the baton by recommending Koo Ja-eun, Chairman of LS, and Lee Yong-bae, CEO of Hyundai Rotem, as the next participants.

Koo Ja-eun, Chairman of LS, leads the group in key national industries such as electricity, electronics, materials, and energy based on the management philosophy of LS partnership, which aims to create "greater value together." In his first year in office, he achieved record-breaking performance while also focusing on social contribution activities supporting the socially vulnerable and future generations.

Lee Yong-bae, CEO of Hyundai Rotem, who took office in 2020, is a figure who has led performance improvements and achieved outstanding management results. He is also leading the advancement of ESG and sustainable management activities and contributed to promoting K-defense globally by exporting K2 tanks to Poland.
