SpaceAd Secures 7.3 Billion KRW Series C Funding

Corporate Value Recognized at Approximately 80 Billion Won

Office media company SpaceAd (CEO Changkeun Oh) announced on the 13th that it has secured 7.3 billion KRW in Series C funding. Existing investors including Altos Ventures and Arc Impact all participated in this round. New investors such as Hanwha Investment & Securities also joined. Through this round of investment, SpaceAd was valued at approximately 80 billion KRW.

Founded in December 2017, SpaceAd is an office media company that connects spaces, brands, and space users by showcasing digital signage and self-produced content in various lifestyle spaces where consumers stay. Its major clients include key large office buildings by region such as Parnas Tower, Trade Tower, Arc Place, Park One, Hana Securities Building, Seoul Square, Jongno Tower, Concordian, and Katewin Tower. The Prime Office Media service provided by SpaceAd to its clients is described as improving building interiors while enhancing the quality of life for tenants with beneficial content and creating a richer working environment.

The Prime Office Media business achieved significant results within 1 year and 8 months of launching the service, signing contracts with about 300 prime office buildings in major areas and approximately 1,500 office media units. It has also established itself as an office media channel capable of communicating with 1 million 2050 office workers daily.

Changkeun Oh, CEO of SpaceAd, said, "Building on this investment, we will expand office media to 1,000 buildings, securing contact points with over 3 million potential customers, which is half of the office workers in the metropolitan area. We will also focus on developing new real estate-related services that meet various needs of landlords beyond media business."
