Co-hosted by the Korea Pharmaceutical Bio Association, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, and the Korea Human Resources Development Institute for Health and Welfare, this job fair will be supported by five government ministries?the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety?making it the event with the most government ministry sponsorships to date. The opening ceremony on the morning of the 19th will be attended by Shin Dong-geun, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Health and Welfare Committee, among others, to encourage efforts to create jobs in the pharmaceutical and bio industries.

This job fair will be held in a hybrid format, combining an on-site event on the opening day with an online event running through the end of the year, following last year’s model. As of the 11th, the online exclusive recruitment hall opened on JobKorea last month has registered 320 job postings from 67 pharmaceutical and bio companies, recording approximately 436,000 views.

In addition to the online exclusive recruitment hall, the official job fair website for participant pre-registration was launched just fifteen days ago and has already attracted over 34,000 visitors with more than 100,000 page views. The job fair website covers essential information for prospective job seekers, including pre-registration, event overview, participating companies’ recruitment information, and schedules for recruitment briefings. The ‘Participating Companies Job Interviews’ section features interviews with current employees of pharmaceutical and bio companies, introducing job roles in fields such as research, quality control, production, and hospital business divisions.

On the 6th and 8th, corporate tours of Daewoong Pharmaceutical and JW Group were conducted alongside recruitment briefings for pre-registered prospective job seekers, receiving great responses.

Mentoring sessions accepting pre-registrations are also gaining momentum ahead of the fair’s opening. Twenty executives and employees from 11 pharmaceutical and bio companies will serve as mentors on-site on the 19th in fields such as research and development, management, production, sales, public relations, and marketing. Already, 672 mentoring applications have been received. To apply for mentoring, participants can select their desired company from the side events menu on the job fair website and write ‘pre-questions for the mentor.’ Applications for special lectures offering ‘Customized Strategies for Employment Success’ can be made by clicking the separate banner visible on the website’s main page.

Job seekers wishing to participate in the fair can complete pre-registration automatically by signing up as members on the job fair website. Upon membership registration, participants will receive a participation certificate via automatic text message. On the day of the event, presenting this certificate at the entrance will grant admission.
