100m from Lee Jae-myung's fasting site, ruling party mukbang... Jeon Yong-gi criticizes as "Ilbe in a suit"

People Power Party Posts on Jeon Yong-gi Democratic Party Member's Facebook About Seafood Consumption Promotion Event

The People Power Party strongly criticized Democratic Party lawmaker Jeon Yong-gi, who called the event held near Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, where seafood tasting events were held to promote seafood consumption, "like an Ilbe member in a suit."

On the 7th, Jeon said on his Facebook, "Since the Yoon Seok-yeol government no longer communicates properly, they belittled the fasting by calling it fake fasting, and now they are even doing a mukbang next to the fasting site," expressing his strong criticism.

Earlier, the People Power Party's 'Protect Our Sea Verification TF' announced that it would hold a seafood consumption promotion event for one million fishermen at the National Assembly Communication Office on the 8th. The event location is about 100 meters away from the tent where Lee, who is fasting, is staying. The event is also known to include seafood sales and free tasting for National Assembly staff and reporters covering the National Assembly.

He pointed out, "I still have a headache recalling the shameless people who did mukbang at the fasting site, but I never imagined seeing this mockery again at the National Assembly, the hall of public opinion," adding, "According to reports, a ruling party lawmaker even mocked Lee Jae-myung, who is fasting, saying, 'Don't be embarrassed, come and eat.'

Jeon said, "It seems they have given up being human beyond just politically attacking," and criticized, "They still don't seem to realize that the blade of words they throw at others will eventually come back to them."
