Environmental Cleanup Activities Around Hanpungnu After the Campaign

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant (Director Jo Sunam) announced on the 6th that it conducted an integrity campaign at Hanpungnu area in celebration of the Muju Firefly Festival.

At the Firefly Festival, widely known as a representative festival of Korea, Director Jo Sunam and the staff promoted participation in creating an honest society by distributing integrity souvenirs along with leaflets promoting the period for intensive reporting of fraudulent receipt of government subsidies to establish a culture of integrity.

After the integrity campaign, the Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant staff enjoyed food sold at booths installed within the event venue, spending time communicating about integrity.

Director Jo Sunam stated, "Integrity is indispensable for happy coexistence with the local community," adding, "As a company representing Muju, Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant will take the lead in spreading and establishing a culture of integrity throughout the entire local community."

Meanwhile, after the integrity campaign, the Muju Pumped Storage Power Plant staff voluntarily took the lead in environmental cleanup activities around Hanpungnu area to ensure that local residents and festival visitors could enjoy the festival in a pleasant environment.
