On the 6th, Mirae Asset Securities announced that content production company 'Genius' and investment firm 'Solair Partners' have joined the token securities working group, the 'Security Token Working Group.' Genius is a content company established by director Yang Woo-seok of the movie The Attorney. Solair Partners is a venture capital firm founded in 2017 by cultural content expert CEO Choi Pyung-ho, who previously served as head of the film business division at CJ Entertainment (now CJ ENM) and CEO of SidusFNH. Solair Partners has been a main investor in films such as Parasite, Extreme Job, and Crime City, achieving notable success.
Mirae Asset Securities highlighted that the domestic content market ranks seventh largest globally and has an average annual growth rate of 11%. Interest from global investors in K-Content is also increasing, which aligns well with the business characteristics of ST.
Additionally, the luxury collectibles fractional investment platform 'TreasureR' has also joined the working group. Mirae Asset Securities plans to explore ways to utilize ST starting with discussions on the valuation and commercialization of high-value luxury collectibles in collaboration with TreasureR.
Ryu Ji-hae, Director of the Digital Asset Task Force (TF) at Mirae Asset Securities, said, "K-Content is a fundamental asset that can expand globally," adding, "We plan to continuously collaborate technologically with excellent blockchain technology companies."
